Go to the Point of Sale and add all the necessary items to your estimate. When you add services to an estimate, they will appear in blue. To add them to a mechanic’s schedule, left-click on the tasks you want to assign. A green box will appear after this action. The outlined fields — Assigned to, Date, and Estimated Time — will allow you to make the assignment.
The Assigned to field lets you quickly choose between the Bay or the mechanic assigned to the job.
The Date field will open a small calendar on screen. From there, you can schedule an appointment based on the desired time and date. Your changes will be saved automatically — simply click outside the calendar to close it.
The Estimated Time field corresponds to the time that will be blocked in your Calendar for the completion of this task. Meanwhile, Actual Time will display the time recorded by the time clock and punch of the mechanic. To verify that the work has indeed been assigned, you can check inside the Calendar by pressing F9 or clicking the Calendar icon located at the bottom, left of your screen.
Once inside the Calendar, look for the selected date and bay—your appointment should appear there.
