When you enter the Point of Sale and create an estimate, it is important that the information you have on the vehicle is accurate. There are two key elements to consider:
2. Modifying Vehicle Information
1. Vehicle Selection
In the Point of Sale, when you select a client, if that client has multiple vehicles, you will automatically be prompted to choose a vehicle already listed in their file. If no vehicle is associated with the client or if the client has purchased a new one, create a new vehicle by clicking on +Add.
Changing the Selected Vehicle
If, when the page opens, you notice that the selected vehicle is not the one that needs to be repaired, you can change it.
Click on X and go directly to Type to see suggestions:
It can be difficult to know which vehicle to select in the dropdown menu if there are several of the same brand. This could easily happen when the client owns a business with a fleet. To see more details, click on the magnifying glass. The blue magnifying glass will open a new window with all of the client's vehicles.
Note: If the desired vehicle does not appear in the list, you can create a new one by clicking +Add in the center of the page.
2. Modifying Vehicle Information
In the Point of Sale, after selecting the client, if you want to edit or view vehicle information, click the blue pencil icon next to the Vehicle name.
Note: When you modify vehicle information, remember that you are not only changing it in the current sale, but directly in the vehicle record. As a result, if you start a new sale with that same vehicle, the updated information will be displayed.
