Create a Gift Card as a Product

First of all, the gift card category must be configured before a new gift card can be created.

To create a gift card as a product, go to Inventory > Products & Services > +Add.

In the next window, enter the following information: 

• Code (unique)
• Name
• Category (111 - Gift card)

Click on Save. 

Then click on the Sales tab.

From here, under "Regular selling price", you can modify the sales price.

In our example, adjust it to $200.

Click on Save. 

You can create gift cards of different values by following the same steps:

1. Go to Inventory > Products & Services > +New.

2.  Add the Code (unique), the Name, and the Category (222 - Gift card). Save it.

3. Click on the Sales tab, under "Regular selling price", adjust it to $10, $50, $100, or any other amount you wish. Then click on Save.
