Your shop's ability to send SMS and quickly communicate with clients is crucial to maintain effective communication, improve customer satisfaction, and optimize operational efficiency. It enhances the overall customer experience and strengthens the relationship between the garage and its clients.
In GEM-CAR's Point of Sale, once a client has been selected it is possible to send them a SMS. Click on the small phone icon at the top of the screen.
A send window will show up on screen, select the right template, in this case the shop needs an appointment confirmation, type in the phone number or use the search tool next to the field. Only modify the required fields in the message. Once the information is ready to send out, click on the blue send button.
Note: Due to Law 25, it is important that you have previously obtained your customer's consent to receive SMS messages. Furthermore, if the customer has not yet indicated their preference, the status in their file will remain as “To be validated”, and you will not be able to send SMS messages to them.
