Moneris is an attractive solution to accept credit cards for your clients' to pay their invoices on GEM-CAR. Click on Configurations > Configurations.
Click on API > Merchant Accounts > +New.
Choose Moneris for your payment processor. Complete the form using the information provided by your payment provider:
- Merchant ID: Merchant ID at www2.moneris.com
- Secret key: API Token at www3.moneris.com
- Account number: You may wish to specify a different accounting account for payments made via the payment provider.
Then click Save and Close.

NOTE: APIs will be supported until March 2027. As part of the evolution of our services and to maintain the performance, security, and compliance of credit card payment integrations, a management fee will now be applied.
This fee covers, in particular:
- the maintenance and updating of integrations with payment providers (APIs)
- transaction security and compliance with current standards
- the continuous improvement of payment-related features
As such, a management fee equivalent to 0.5% of transactions will be added to your subscription for the use of these services. We remain committed to providing you with reliable, high-performance solutions tailored to your business needs. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
