There are several places where you can leave a note or a comment in your GEM-WORK, whether it is public or not.
In your Point of Sale, there are three places to enter notes, but be careful: they will not all be hidden from your customer.
- Next to the Client's name, there is a paper sheet icon. It will turn yellow if it contains a comment. These notes will not be visible to the customer.
- When a service is selected, there is a field called Internal notes for the workorder(s). You can add comments related to the service, but your customer will not have access to them either.
- As for the Message on invoice, all the information entered here will appear on your customer's invoice.
If you want to add comments related to the client, click on the yellow paper sheet and a window will open.
Click on it again if you want to hide the comments.
When you click on the Time Control in the Point of Sale, you will have two more spaces to include notes:
- Note(s) for job
- Internal notes for the workorder(s)—These notes work in conjunction with those previously mentioned in the Point of Sale. In this sense, your employee can enter notes, and your service advisor will have access to their details once the work is completed.
