Generate the Cash Register Closing Report

The cash register closing report includes general ledger (GL) entries and a summary of the payments made. This document is essential to provide a clear and accurate overview of the company's financial situation at the end of each accounting period.

By consolidating this key information, the report allows you to verify the consistency of the accounts, identify any discrepancies, and prepare the financial statements necessary for strategic decision-making and compliance with accounting requirements.

To generate this report, click Sales > Reports > Cash Register Closes.

In the next window, enter the following data:

  • Start date
  • End date
  • Date used for verification
  • User (to see the cash register closes made by a selected employee)
  • Branch

Click Send.

The report will display the following data:

  • Sales by category
  • Payments
  • Invoices

At the bottom of the page, you can print the report or convert it to a PDF file. The yellow Print and PDF buttons are located next to the Close button.

Note : This report is useful for external accountants who do bookkeeping on another system. This is why GL codes are displayed for each category.
