This feature is currently only available for the Clients, Products and Services, and Suppliers modules.
Merging items allows you to remove duplicates from your system. For example, if you accidentally created a client a second time, you can use this feature to merge the two items. Of course, if the second client has no sales or other information on their file, you can simply set the file to inactive. Otherwise, here is the procedure for merging the two clients (or other module):
Click on Clients > Clients and at the bottom of a client's file, you will see the button with the two arrows pointing towards each other.
In the Data Merging window, you can enter the name of the client whose records you want to merge.
If you can't remember, click on the magnifying glass and the client list will open.
Enter or search using the blue button to select the file you want to merge with the current file.
Note: It is very important to note that this action is irreversible, so you need to be sure of what you are doing.
