Understand the History Tab (Log)

The History (Log) tab is a tab that you will find in several files in your GEM-WORK database, including the Client file, the Human Resources file, the Products and Services file, the Price List file, and several others.

You do not need to fill it in, so don't worry about how you should proceed. All the information found in this tab is automatically added by GEM-WORK. This information allows you to track the evolution of a file from the moment it is created. For example, the History (Log) tab of a client file.

GEM-WORK automatically keeps a history of all changes made to the Client file. Each file is subject to change, depending on orders, purchases, recurrences, etc. Whether you make a change to a file yourself or it is made by another user, you will appreciate knowing everything that has been edited since the creation of your client file, when, and by which user.

This section gives you an overview of the changes made to your client file and allows you to check these changes if necessary. All users with the necessary permissions in GEM-WORK in your company can add information about the client, send them an email, or collect a payment. All these operations are recorded under the History (Log) tab. If the client informs you that they have been given a special discount, you can check who granted it, etc.
