Verify if a Client Exists

Before creating a customer, in order to avoid duplicates, it is essential to check whether the customer already exists in the database. There are two ways to do this:

• Option 1 - Client File
• Option 2 - Use the Magnifying Glass

Option 1 - Client File

Type the client's phone number or name in the client number field and press Enter. 

If the client does not exist, this window will open. Answer Yes to the confirmation question when GEM-WORK asks if you want to create this client.

Option 2 - Use the Magnifying Glass

Click on the magnifying glass next to the Client bar.

In the window titled Please select a client, you can:

1. Enter partial or complete information to find the client, such as their phone number, last name, first name, email address, or code.
2. You can filter your search to reduce the number of results and find the client you are looking for more quickly.
