Knowing the profitability of a sale is essential for assessing whether a transaction is really advantageous. It allows you to calculate the profit margin, identify hidden costs and make strategic decisions to maximize profits. In your GEM-CAR, open the Point of Sale, select the client and the products and services. Then click on the Profitability button at the bottom right of the page, under Parts and Service(s).
In the Profitability window, you will see the following information:
- Category
- Quantity
- Hours
- Cost
- Selling price
- Profit
- Profit margin (%)
- Desired margin (%)
You can make changes in the Desired margin (%) column and then click on Adjust prices.
