If you have not already done so, you must first complete the initial configuration of tire storage on GEM-CAR. Also, in order to remove tires from storage to install them on a customer's vehicle or return them to the customer, the tires must have been placed in storage on GEM-CAR.
From the Point of Sale, enter the product code RENT. This is the default product code for tire returns. Then press ENTER.
The storage window appears. Here you will find the tires stored for the client and the vehicle selected at the Point of Sale. Select the tires you wish to return.
The storage return will now appear on the estimate at a cost of $0.
Then proceed to Payment to take the tires out of storage and into the system. Click on Send.
When payment is made, the tires are removed from storage in the system. A new window will then appear with the following message: “Choose the printing type.” You will have two options: 8.5 X 11 or Coupon.
If we select the coupon option, we will get the following image to print.
