Configure Payments by PayPal

If you do not have a high volume of transactions, PayPal could be a solution to consider for accepting credit card payments. Then, if your sales increase and you need a more suitable solution, please contact your GEM-WORK representative for suggestions on the best possible solutions for your business.

To configure PayPal on GEM-WORK, please ensure that your PayPal account is a business account (PayPal Payments Pro). If you need to create a PayPal account, please visit the appropriate website for your region. The business account is a solution with monthly fees.

Note that activating the Pro option may take a few days. Now, to configure your PayPal account in GEM-WORK, go to the main menu, click on Configurations Configurations.

  • Account Number: Signature

Then click on Save and Close.

Once the information is entered and saved in GEM-WORK, click Done on the PayPal site.

NOTE: APIs will be supported until March 2027. As part of the evolution of our services and to maintain the performance, security, and compliance of credit card payment integrations, a management fee will now be applied.

This fee covers, in particular:

  • the maintenance and updating of integrations with payment providers (APIs)
  • transaction security and compliance with current standards
  • the continuous improvement of payment-related features

As such, a management fee equivalent to 0.5% of transactions will be added to your subscription for the use of these services. We remain committed to providing you with reliable, high-performance solutions tailored to your business needs. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
