Restore and Backup on AWS
1. How often are backups performed on AWS?
We perform several levels of backups to ensure optimum data protection:
- Daily backups: kept for 4 weeks.
- Weekly backups: retained for 4 weeks.
- Monthly backups: retained for 5 months.
2. How do you ensure data and application redundancy?
Our data and application servers are fully redundant:
- Secure hosting on AWS with regular backups.
- Data replication in our own in-house data center.
- Super high-speed fiber optic connection between AWS and our local infrastructure.
- Backup power supply via generator to ensure availability in the event of failure.
3. Where are backups stored?
Backups are stored on AWS for long-term retention, while being replicated in our in-house data center for rapid recovery if necessary without PDF and video files.
4. How can I restore my data if I need to?
In the event of data loss or the need for restoration, our technical team can:
- Restore a specific version of the data from AWS backups.
- Activate a backup server in our internal data center to ensure continuity of operations.
- Perform a full or partial restore according to business needs.
5. What happens in the event of a major breakdown?
Thanks to our redundant infrastructure and backups on AWS, we can quickly restore services with minimum downtime. Our in-house data center acts as a disaster recovery solution, guaranteeing continuity of services.
6. Who can access backups and restores?
Access to backups and restores is strictly limited to our authorized IT team. All actions are logged to ensure data security and compliance.
7. How long are backups kept?
Backups are kept according to the following cycle:

After this period, old backups are securely deleted in accordance with our retention policies.
