Redeem a Gift Card

Before redeeming the gift cards, you can check how many are left and what the values are.  To check this, click on Inventory > Gift Cards. Remove the Active filter and you'll have the complete list:

• in green are the cards with remaining values
• in white are the cards that have already been used entirely. 

To redeem the gift card, click on Point of Sale, select the client, and select the product or service and proceed to payment. 

Click on Gift Cards. In the next window, enter the following information: 

• #Gift card
• Amount

If all the information is right, click on Used.

If you enter the wrong gift card number, the system will display a red balloon with the following message: "Card has not been activated or card is empty".

In our example, half of the gift card was used in this transaction and the rest of the amount for the service was paid using other means. In other words, cash and gift card. To finalize the transaction, click Send. 

The invoice will show the payment methods: debit card and gift card.
