Create a Window Sheet

The vehicle Window Sheet is a printable document that summarizes key information about a vehicle. It is typically displayed on the vehicle’s window or provided to potential buyers, allowing them to quickly review the vehicle’s technical specifications, price, warranty, and history. This document is automatically generated from the information stored in the vehicle’s record. The top section displays information about the dealership, including:

- Creating and Updating Vehicle Information

To create the Window Sheet, open the Vehicle Lot, then look at the options column on the right side of the screen. Next, click the button with three dots to display additional options, then select Window Sheet. Clicking this button will generate a PDF document.

You can create the Window Sheet in the Point of Sale. Click the green button to create a new sale in the Vehicle Lot; you will then be redirected to the Point of Sale. Right-click on the vehicle and select the F&I > Window Sheet option. The document will be created in PDF format and will be available in the Documents tab of the Point of Sale.

The Window Sheet is generated based on the information recorded for the vehicle. Therefore, before generating it, the user must update the vehicle data. Before generating a Window Sheet, verify that the vehicle information is complete and up to date. The Window Sheet automatically retrieves the information stored in the vehicle record. Click Vehicle Lot > Vehicle Lot, then search for the vehicle you want to update. Click the Edit Vehicle button.

Check and update the required information, such as:

  • Vehicle year, make, and model;

  • Selling price;

  • Inventory number;

  • Vehicle Identification Number (VIN);

  • Fuel type;

  • Exterior and interior colors;

  • Mileage;

  • Description;

  • Vehicle options and features;

  • Warranty information;

  • Usage history;

  • Photos of the vehicle.

Click Save. Once the vehicle information has been updated, generate the Window Sheet. The document will automatically display the latest information from the vehicle record.

Note: If any required information is missing from the vehicle record, it will also be missing from the generated window sheet. Always check the vehicle details before generating or printing the document.
