Manage the Sales Contract

The Sales Contract contains all information related to the sale of the vehicle, including the buyer’s contact information, the vehicle’s specifications, information regarding the trade-in, prices, taxes, warranties, financing options, and the legal terms governing the transaction. The contract is generated automatically when a new sale is created and the buyer’s information is added to the client list. For example: click Vehicle Lot, then click the green button to Create a New Listing for that Vehicle.

You will be redirected to the Point of Sale. Select an existing client by clicking the magnifying glass, or create a new client by clicking the + icon.

Next, next to the vehicle, you will see an icon representing a PDF document. Click on it.

The contract will appear in PDF format in the Documents tab of the Point of Sale. To open it, select the document. On the right side of the screen, you'll find the following options:

  • download;

  • sign;

  • print;

  • send by email;

  • send via mobile phone;

  • delete.

The contract will look like the following example:

To check the contract template being used, click Vehicle Lot > Configurations > Configurations.

Next, click the Documents tab. On this tab, you can review the template for the retail contract and add additional clauses in the Vehicle Sales Contract Clauses field: the default clauses are already included in the document, but if you wish to use others, please add them here. Once you have finished making changes, click Save.

Another way to add clauses is to do so directly in the Point of Sale module. Click the Clauses tab, add the desired clauses, and click Save Clauses.

Return to the Sales tab and click again to generate the sales contract.

The clauses will appear in the Other Sales Contract Clauses field.
