This feature is currently available for the following modules: Clients, Products and Services, Suppliers and Vehicles.
The merge function allows you to remove duplicate entries from your system.
For example, if you accidentally created the same client twice, you can use this feature to merge the two entries. Of course, if the second client file has no sales or other related information, you can simply set the file to inactive. Otherwise, here is the procedure to merge the two client records (or any other applicable module): click on Clients > Clients in the left-hand menu, select a client record, and at the bottom of the record, you will see a button with two arrows pointing toward each other.
Click this button to bring up a window like the following:
Enter or search using the blue button to select the record you want to merge into the one currently open.
Note: It is very important to understand that this action is irreversible, so make sure you are certain before proceeding.
The same applies to the other modules: Suppliers, Products and Services, and Vehicles. When you will open a specific record in any of these modules, you will see the merge option at the bottom of the screen.
