Before creating a customer, in order to avoid duplicates, it is essential to check if the customer already exists in the database. There are 2 ways to do this:
Option 1 - Client File
Type the customer's phone number or name in the customer number field and press Enter.
Answer “Yes” to the confirmation question when GEM-CAR asks you if you want to create this client.
Note: Make sure you have searched thoroughly using the various information you have about the customer before clicking “Yes”.
Option 2 - Use the Magnifying Glass
Click on the magnifying glass.
The following window will open :
1) Enter partial or complete information to find the customer, whether it is the telephone number, first or last name, email or even the code.
2) It is possible to filter our search in order to reduce the number of results obtained and quickly find the targeted customer.
