To send an estimate via SMS so that the customer can approve it, you need to make some configurations. To configure a template for an SMS with a quote, follow these steps: in the menu on the left, click on Communications > Configurations > SMS templates > +Add.
In the next window, enter the following information:
- Email type
- Name
- Check the “Use by default” box
- Message
Click on Save.
Click on Point of Sale and create an estimate. Select the client, the services and click on Estimate.
A document will be created in the Documents tab. Click on the Documents tab and search for the correct estimate. You will see a series of icons on the right side of the screen: click on the mobile icon to Send by SMS the estimate to the client.
In the next window, select the “Estimate approval” SMS template. Check that the following information is correct before sending:
- the client's telephone number
- the message
- the estimate
Click on Send.
