The software automatically calculates the hours to be paid when a public holiday is included in a payroll run. This calculation is suggested to you, but you can change it to enter the number of hours that suits you. To do this, you must first configure your payroll settings correctly. In the employee categories, you can configure an accounting account for payrolls that include public holidays.
Click on Payrolls > Configurations > Employee Categories > +Add.
In the Info tab, in the Holiday field, enter the desired account, then click Save.
When this happens, you will see that a line called “holiday” will be added to the income list. In this line, the rate entered will be equivalent to the default hourly rate (rate #1). The system will automatically calculate the number of hours based on the hours paid in the last four weeks. The exact calculation is as follows: (total hours for the last 4 weeks) * (1/20). This number of hours will be deducted from the default number of hours. The proposed holiday amount can be modified or removed.
