This option allows you to change the term used for quotes or estimates according to your preferences. When generating an estimate in the Point of Sale, the default title can be replaced with a custom title configured in the Sales module. This feature helps you tailor documents to your company’s terminology or operational needs. Here are the steps to configure and use this option in GEM-CAR: click on Sales > Configurations > Configurations.
In the Sales tab, select the option “Change the term of estimates to one of your choice.” Then, choose the Term used. Click Save.
You can also modify the term Estimate in PDF documents before printing them. Select the option “Replace the word "Estimate" with the title chosen in the PDF when printing the estimate.” Then, enter the terms in the Terms to use for titles (separated by commas) field. Click Save.
