GEM-CAR work orders and inspections help you organize your work while ensuring that you do it right the first time. With a template tailored to the automotive industry, you can easily create work orders that include legal clauses and a vehicle identification number decoder.
1. Access the Inspections
On the Dashboard screen, you can access the inspections in the menu on the left or at the top of the screen, next to Calendar.
By accessing the Inspections menu, you will be able to see the list of inspections already performed.
2. Add a New Inspection
You can create a new inspection by pressing the +Add button. In the next window, in the Info tab, enter all the information necessary to create a new inspection:
- Number;
- Work order;
- Client;
- Vehicle;
- Technician;
- Inspection;
- Odometer entry;
- Odometer exit;
- Stage.
If the Client or Vehicle is already in the system, you can find it by entering part of the name in the text box: suggestions will appear in a drop-down menu. Another option is to click on the magnifying glass to find the name in the list. If the Client or Vehicle does not exist, you can create it. Click on the red + button.
You can use a custom inspection, i.e., an inspection created by yourself, according to your needs.
You can choose the type of inspection and the options will be displayed so that you can check them according to the condition (Good condition, Maintenance recommended, Urgent repair, N/A, Not verified), depending on the type of inspection selected. Once you are done, in the lower left corner, next to the Close button, you can:
- Copy the direct link;
- Request a signature;
- Generate the report (PDF).
In the Documents tab, you will find a list of documents related to this inspection. In the right corner of each line, you can perform the following actions:
- Download;
- Request a signature;
- Print;
- Send an email;
- Send by SMS;
- Delete.
