Add Drawings to Photos Imported from Inspections

To use the drawing option on photos imported during inspections, start by opening the inspection report and selecting the desired photo. Use the tools provided to highlight areas, add notes, or mark specific points directly on the image. Once you are finished, save your changes so that the annotated photo is included in your report. Click Inspections > Inspections > +Add to create a new inspection.

In the next window, in the Info tab, enter all the information needed to create a new inspection:

  • Number;
  • Work order;
  • Client;
  • Vehicle;
  • Technician;
  • Inspection;
  • Odometer entry;
  • Odometer exit;
  • Stage.

To insert a photo, which will serve as proof of certain information related to the inspection, click on the photo icon. Then click on Select File(s).

After selecting the correct photo file, a bar offering various image editing options appears below the selected image.

You can use the pencil to write, the circle and square to highlight a specific area, and the text box to leave a message. You can delete changes by pressing the trash can button, and you can save all changes by clicking on the diskette. The following message appears in green: “Your changes have been saved.”

To find out which inspection points contain photos, simply note that the camera changes color, turning yellow when there is a photo file at that location.

When generating the report in PDF format, the photo appears at the end of the document with the changes made to the photo.
